AI-Generated Infographics from Knowledge Base Content
...::: Summary Add an image generation capability that lets users turn Recall content - at the card level or tag/collection level - into visual infographics, making knowledge more accessible to people who process information visually. ...::: The problem Recall is excellent at surfacing text - summaries, highlights, linked concepts - but everything stays in prose form. Many users think spatially and visually. A well-structured infographic of a tag cluster or a set of related cards would let someone grasp a body of knowledge in seconds rather than reading through dozens of entries. ...::: Proposed behaviour Trigger point: a button or context menu on any card, tag view, or collection — "Generate infographic" Scope options the user chooses from: ---Single card → key concepts and their relationships visualised --- Tag → all cards under that tag summarised into a thematic visual --- Multiple selected cards → cross-card synthesis Style presets (radio or dropdown), for example: --- Clean / minimal (white background, icon blocks, simple typography) --- Dark / bold (high contrast, suitable for presentations) --- Mind-map style (radial layout, connecting lines) --- Timeline / sequential (good for process or regulatory content) --- Comparison grid (good for side-by-side concepts) --- Colour palette options, e.g. load corporate palette Custom prompt field - lets the user override or extend the style preset with their own instructions (e.g. "make it look like a regulatory briefing document, EU colour palette, English only") Model suggestions: GPT 2.5, Gemini 3.1 Flash Image Lite or similar :::... Additional ideas Export as PNG or SVG, with optional Recall watermark toggle dependent on Recall plan. "Regenerate" button with seed variation so users can iterate without re-entering settings Share link - the infographic gets a private URL users can copy to Notion, a slide deck, or a client briefing Template library - community-contributed style templates that users can install (like a theme marketplace) Accessibility: generate alt-text automatically alongside the image A couple of examples are attached (made with GPT 2.5 and Nano Banana).

“Today Card" / Daily Continuous Log for AI Distillation
User Story As a user, I want a persistent, easily accessible "Today Card" where I can frictionlessly log a daily run list of unstructured thoughts, tasks, and moments, so that an AI agent can read, categorize, and distill this information into actionable insights and historical summaries. The Problem Currently, capturing daily fragments—work wins, random thoughts, fleeting memories, and rolling to-dos—requires too much structural overhead. Users need a single, blank-slate daily entry point that removes the friction of organizing information in the moment. Proposed Solution Implement a daily "Today Card" that acts as an open, running log. This card would serve as the raw data feed for an integrated AI agent to process. Key Use Cases & AI Workflows: * The Morning Brief: The AI scans the previous day's unstructured thoughts and incomplete tasks to generate a clean, synthesized morning action plan. * Professional Growth & Impact Tracking: A frictionless way to build a repository of career wins. For example, logging daily instructional design milestones, training deployment metrics, or consulting feedback on the fly. The AI can later aggregate these daily fragments into a comprehensive quarterly review or portfolio summary. * Memory Keeping: A low-pressure space to log life moments (funny quotes, sad events, personal project updates) that the AI can curate into a searchable, long-term personal history. Why this matters: This feature bridges the gap between quick capture and long-term knowledge management. By letting the user brain-dump into a single daily card and offloading the organization to an AI agent, it transforms Recall into a proactive personal and professional assistant.

Recall Knowledge Base
Research Workspace: Projects, Planning, and AI-Assisted Research
I use Recall as my primary knowledge base and have thousands of saved cards. It's great for capture, but when I need to actually do something with what I've saved — write a research paper, a blog post, build a design brief — I end up routing the work through three or four other tools because Recall has no dedicated space for focused project work. What I'd love is a Project — a named container I can create for a specific research effort, import relevant cards from my KB into, and work from. The key thing is that the project scopes the experience: when I chat, explore connections, or view the graph within a project, it works from those cards only — not my entire KB. On top of that, it would be helpful to have a couple of research-specific tools inside the project: A planning space where I can define my thesis, research questions, and what kind of output I'm building toward (academic paper vs. blog post vs. personal reference). Ideally, the AI helps me think through this. Some kind of source health view that tells me things like: how old is my research on average, am I over-indexed on one source type (e.g., lots of podcasts, no white papers), and where are my gaps by topic. My current workaround: I build my research plan in Claude, have Claude query Recall on my behalf, manually curate cards, copy everything into Notion, organized by sub-question, do supplementary research in NotebookLM, and nothing flows back to Recall. It works, but it's fragmented — and Recall, which holds most of my raw material, ends up being the one tool I'm not actually working inside. I think this would make Recall the natural home for research work, not just research capture.
