Similar-ish systems like Pocket offered a list of suggested articles based on what other people were reading/saving. Given Recall has a good idea of a user's interests in that users are specifically saving pages which implies high interest, using recency and topic interests to show articles other people have saved could produce some interesting further reading for readers. Am finding systems like Google News relatively anoydyne in what it suggests for daily reading these days - not sure why.
